OHEMA was born from a diasporic perspective, shaped by African and Caribbean heritage and the experience of growing up surrounded by Western ideas of beauty, luxury and status.

That perspective informs the way OHEMA sees beauty, the objects we create and the world we are building.

OHEMA creates objects designed to be lived with, gathered around and passed forward — bringing beauty to the spaces we inhabit and creating reasons for people to come together.

The name draws from Ohemaa, meaning Queen, reflecting the pride, presence and sense of legacy at the heart of the House.

The visual language may be global, but the perspective is our own.

It should reflect us. Celebrate us.
